Yeah was just talking about this last night. Unless you're looking at a three-year sample I think the most accurate depiction for what WAR is actually supposed to be is just by looking at b-r's oWAR which includes offense with positional and replacement level adjustments.

What a complete joke. How can anyone take this things seriously?

thats what happens when you play in the smallest LF in baseball. its a homerun or a flyball you can catch.

He was -27 the last two years in the same park. He now weighs 340 lbs. So, obviously, it makes sense that he's now an elite OF

you've said it yourself; he literally covers a lot of ground
Yes, but in a double utley you can put your utley on top they other guy's utley, and you're the winner. (Swish)

How the hell is the Yankees pitching as good as it is? They now have a +171 run differential - +171!!!!!! B-r says they should be as good as... well, the Phillies.

Something tells me the 132 and 128 ERA+ for Freddy Garcia and Bartolo Colon aren't sustainable.

Also, their bullpen is ridiculously good (mostly legitimate).

Pitching has been good.

Also, Granderson and Texiera have been out of this world good. Texiera is having his second best season ever. Granderson is having his best year ever, by far.

I think there is nothing I hate more than the Fox pitch-tracker strike zone.

My thoughts out to Juan Nicasio of the Rockies. Absolutely horrifying.

Stolen from a friend's Twinker:

The Marlins acquisition of Alfredo Amezaga is surprising because I don't think anyone knew he wasn't on the Marlins.

Ian Kennedy is 14-3.
I know what you're asking yourself and the answer is yes. I have a nick name for my penis. Its called the Octagon, but I also nick named my testes - my left one is James Westfall and my right one is Doctor Kenneth Noisewater.
