at least the Braves are in 2nd with a .631 pct (19-11) despite being .500 in reality

I'm really excited to check Baseball Prospectus's Adjusted Standings tomorrow. Braves could be in first in first order wins and should be right on our heels in third order wins. It wouldn't be a baseball season without that.

Last year after 29 games we were 18-11 and in first place, 2 games up (on the Mets!).

We had scored 159 runs (vs. 132) and allowed 113 (vs. 95).

I'm still scarred by the approach of May 22, the one year anniversary of the day the offense died (after a brief warning spasm in Pittsburgh on May 18-19).

Do you guys think Worley can maintain his 92.6 LOB%?

Side note, really wish Fangraphs had a better breakdown for pitchfx movement #s other than just league average.

Worley for Josh Johnson. Moar aces.

i'm more focused on the stretch of 13 games after tonight, all against the teams with the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th best records in the league, a huge contrast with the first 30, of which 25 were against the bottom two teams in each division. by may 22, we'll already have a much better idea of how good the non-utley phils really are.

You mean to say the teams we played and beat repeatedly in the beginning of the season are in the bottom of their divisions?! That's unpossible!

The Rangers and Reds are no picnic after that either. I think anything better than 16-4 over the next twenty is going to be difficult to achieve.
