This is not a case where everything bad that has happened to the Mets is Wright's fault. But the Mets are bigger than David Wright and if he can bring back a solid No. 3 starter and a solid reliever or two, the Mets have to strongly consider it.

One final thing: does it bother anyone else when a cashier at a food joint inspects their 20 dollar bill as if it may be a phony? I know it's their job, but if I had a suitcase full of fake 20s at my disposal, I wouldn't use them on a 3 dollar iced coffee.


People buy small items with bogus 20s so that they get $17-19 in real money in exchange for nothing.
