If the Nationals sign Pujols or Fielder, the Mets will be a stone-cold lock for last place.

The Mets will have to go full-on Rays model in order to compete. It would be hysterical to see a team from New York have to try that.

With K-Rod & Reyes gone, their team doesn't really have a "face" for our hatred. Some of their players are actually likable. Of course, Mets fans are still douches though, so there will always be that.

The Mets won't blow as many leads as they did in recent years. But they won't GET as many leads either.
