During that Latino Heritage Night a couple weeks ago, they wore blue jerseys, I'm definitely seeing a trend here... Could there be a blue alt in the works for next year?

Rumor is that all the black highlighting will be removed next year and the blue "Los Mets" jersey will be an occasional alternate (but not a full-time one since they didn't submit any changes in March for new unis), then in 2013 they'll have a new blue alternate...

All of the "Los (insert team name here)" jerseys is the stupidest fucking thing ever. Pretty much cheer against the teams wearing those jerseys at this point.

i think the phoenix suns started this stupid trend and have worn these alternate jerseys quite frequently. ffs, "los suns" wtf is a los suns, it's "los soles". if there is a spanish equivalent translation for that nickname, use it! so i really don't have any problem with los mets. but these "los" jerseys are basically the equivalent of me going into a real mexican restaurant and asking "where is the el bathroomo?" so while some may think it's some great marketing strategy, i find it rather belittling and offensive.
