I have not seen this previously, then again I don't watch Rome if they've been showing it before/after rome

How do you think The Sopranos will end? I assume Tony will get killed but by who? NY? Somebody in his own crew? Carmella?

they are supposed run the 8 from season three and the 12 for season four together, as one big season four, but there is confusion over what hbo is doing this summer. they havent made any offical decision, but it is expected to run over the summer as well.

as for the sopranos, supposedly the final scenes were filmed with tony and his crew somewhere in jersey. whatever that means.....

The pay channel has confirmed its summer schedule, which will see the network expand to three hours of original programming on its signature night. It all starts on Sunday, June 10 at 9:00/8:00c with the swan song of "The Sopranos." Said finale will lead into the series premiere of David Milch's "John From Cincinnati" at 10:00/9:00c. The following week, on June 17, "John" will slide into the 9:00/8:00c hour where it will be bookended by season two of "Big Love" at 8:00/7:00c and season four of "Entourage" at 10:00/9:00c. Closing out the night then will be newcomer "Flight of the Conchords," a "Curb Your Enthusiasm"-esque comedy about the fictionalized life of the New Zealand folk parody duo of the same name, at 10:30/9:30c. Beyond this summer, look for the serialized comedy "In Treatment" and the relationship dramedy "Tell Me You Love Me" in the fall while fellow newbies "12 Miles of Bad Road" and (potentially) "True Blood" are due in 2008. ("Blood," which is currently casting its pilot, has yet to officially be ordered to series.) And finally, last but certainly not least, look for the final season of "The Wire" and a fresh run of "Curb Your Enthusiasm" sometime in 2008.

Suprised to see that Sopranos finale is only one hour, thought it would be longer.

In a completely unrelated event, the worst SNL ever is to be broadcast tonight./

I actually watched SNL for the first time in years. Weekend Update was mediocre. Peyton had one skit where he was pegging footballs at kids that was okay. Otherwise, it was about as funny as According to Jim.

Salon.com interview with Ronald D. Moore, mostly about the difficulties of running a heavily serialized show like "Battlestar."

Sounds like the two-hour TV/DVD movie that will come out late this year goes back to Season 2-era stuff, with Admiral Cain and the Pegasus. Should be interesting.

I was surprised at how funny Peyton was. The United Way skit was good, but I thought Peyton pretty much carried the Bronx Zoo sketch as well. Peyton has range--he can play more than himself.

I couldn't find a youtube clip of that, but I did find this:

I wonder if Barkley felt like he needed a shower after that.

Still, nothing will ever top Charles Barkley on Stuart Smalley.

I thought the Rome series finale tonight was fantastic. I'm sorry to see the series end but I can see why it would be tough for the mass audience to get into it.

It was a great show- production expenses must have been through the roof.

Thoughts on last night's episode? I thought the courtroom scenes were close to perfect and while I was a little concerned about where they were heading with "All Along the Watchtower" but I thought it resolved itself in a pretty satisfactory manner. I don't know how to take the ending, but it really makes me look forward to next Sunday.

Pretty much my reaction too--the trial conclusion was excellent, and I respected the crazy stakes-raising of the last ten minutes though I'm not sure I completely buy it.

For BSG, though, there's no "next Sunday"; last night was it until next January...

Planet Earth on Discovery was pretty cool looking. Sigourney Weaver would pronounce water "wooder" one time and then "water" the next. I became sort of obsessed with it.

There's a show called 'dinner impossible' - where some crazy chef takes on a cooking 'mission' with limited time and suppiles...last episode i saw was for the governor of PAs inaguration...this weeks 'mission' seems to take place at the tailgate of an eagles game.
