I'm not sure about that, yet. To me it seems 50/50.

His way of life and being a horn dog seem synonomous to me.

I can definitely see that view, but you could argue you'd have a lot more horn dog fun being single.

While having three wives would be more fun for a horndog than having one, it's still got to get monotonous at some point. With the exception of that little flare-up of passion w/ Barb last year, this seems the case with Bill.

I think he truly believes in the doctrine.

Three wives seems like a lot of hassle. It's not like you get to do four-ways or anything.

I feel like Bill sometimes. Two women is too many but one ain't enough.

Anyway, Brotherhood, should I bother watching the rest?

For a guy with 3 wives, he doesn't seem to have a lot of sex...he did in the beginning of the show, but not so much any more, i thought the whole plural wives thing was about variety and all that?

Couldn't he not have sex with only one wife?

That's basically what I'm saying -- zero times three is still zero.

But 3 times as many in-laws. And pretty messed up in-laws at that.

Have they ever shown or even mentioned Maggie's family? Everyone knows about Nikki's family, and they've down plenty to paint a picture of what Barb's family thinks, but I can't recall any background with Maggie.

It's coming to the US? That's cool. Pacino is too good for it though.

I'm not finished with DW Season 3 yet, but I can say the show just gets better and better and better and better.

It reminded me of Annabella Sciorra's character on "The Sopranos" making a point to give Carmela a ride home.

I like the duality of Bill's crusade to avenge Roman embarrassing his family and the values they represent while at the same time embracing gambling and lusting for a pie waitress.

it's not sinnin' if you marry them!

I've gotta say that when making the call to go from one wife to two, Nicki seems like an odd choice to make that leap. I may have missed a few episodes last season, but all I've heard is that Barb got sick. Nicki came to take care of her. And then Bill and Barb (read Bill with Barb doing it for him) decided to enter into plural marriage.

I suppose, theoretically, wives in plural marriages are a bit less demanding than most women. Nicki seems incredibly high maintenance, however. And she's a true believer.

Have they covered Margene's background? I remember them saying they voted on adding her and that Margene was accepted 2 to 1. Guess who voted no.

I seem to recall she worked as a cashier at Bill's store and babysat his kids

You're right about Nicki being an odd choice, in theory, for 2nd wife, which I think supports my sense that Bill's at least 50% a true believer

Yes coming to the US but wrong network...it will be on BBC America as part of their 'sci fi saturday' stuff...with life on mars coming back and jekyll which looks cool - and hex which is pretty much the oc with demons and angels

The final 4 episodes of The Knights of Prosperity will be run off in August, so will the final 6 episodes of The Nine, but the story didn't rap up after 13 episodes, so what's the use?

8:30/7:30c - "The Knights of Prosperity" (Returns)
9:00/8:00c - "According to Jim" (Repeat)
9:30/8:30c - "The Knights of Prosperity"
10:00/9:00c - "The Nine"

Wednesday, August 15-22

"Flight" was less funny than the other three, IMHO, but still enjoyable.

That speech she gave to Kai was just irritating. Very odd delivery. It also seems the writing for the show sounds a lot like the 19th century jargon used on Deadwood. I know, I know, same writer and all. But J from C is supposed to be modern, right? Ugh, this show is just getting more pointless by the week. I'm about to quit.

Entourage somehow manages to hold my attention despite being predictable and not really funny. I don't get it, but even though the show really isn't good, when the episode is over I still want more.

Any torrent experts know why I can't download the shows with like 20 different files, because that's the way Flight of the Conchords comes. All the other shows come as 1 big file, but this one is like 20 small ones. I've liked the show so far, but have only seen the first two.

Also almost caught up with Rescue Me. What a great, great show.
