Gordon Ramsey is funny - and I know some of it is showmanship - but still funny... when he did the tasting of the signature dishes - and opened one and just looked at it and went "F$% me" - I laughed

Its a terrific show. I know that much of it is staged like all other reality shows, but it's just hysterical to watch. I'm a BIG fan.

In ruling under seal until Friday, federal judge orders TorrentSpy to log visitor activity. But company says it will appeal.

I sort of enjoyed V Mars ... moreso the first two seasons because there was a 'mystery' and long arc that carried it through. I thought at times some of it was well done and that there was a sense of humor. Might be a stretch of V Mars had a little of that Rockford humor in her. And well, yes, she's cute... I'm not losing any sleep over it being cancelled although I heard a rumor that they might re-incarnate her as an FBI cop drama like 3 years in the future...or something? Kind of like Lou Grant... :-)

Jericho struck me as another one of these shows of which there have been a lot of in recent years... I didn't see much of it though so perhaps it was well done?

Haven't seen it yet, not sure what the mood/theme is? I know its the guy who did Deadwood, right? I loved Deadwood, amazing show that ended abruptly and too quickly... the use of language and dialog was phenomenal, dressed up in surface vulgar was incredible sophistication. Very unique show... deserved at least one more full season to wrap it up cleanly maybe two more.... 4-6 seasons for a top show seem warranted.

I am confused and baffled by the end of the Sopranos. And John from Cincinnati was VERY bizarre. Not sure what to think about it.

Chase set out to show the juxtaposition of the traditional mob story with the traditional family life story. Mobsters as dads. The standard story telling is to have a beginning, middle, and end with all major points introduced have a through line. Chase chose a non-traiditional way of telling a story. He wanted something refelecting real life. In real life, some things that happen don't mean anything and don't have a beginning, middle, and end. Things don't necessarily pay off. A lot of people find this kind of storytelling unsatisfying. (See the second half of Full Metal Jacket.)

Tony's death may come a minute after the show or in 40 years. He doesn't give you an answer because he's decided that he's picking out a certain time period in these character's lives. What will Paulie do next? Will Tony be indicted? Will Janice take the money intended for Bobby's kids? No one knows because it hasn't happened yet. If there were a Sopranos movie, I doubt he'd wrap everything up. In life things don't wrap up neatly and at the same time.

While this may be true... the episode was very uneven. It lacked focus. It did in fact try to get a lot of cameos in there, the visit to Junior, a tender moment with Janice, a one on one moment with Meadow... it lacked focus and tension. We didn't have to get a neat simple ending where it all came together but last week there was a tone, a feeling and a tension. This didn't give any resolution to that tension, it was just kind of random. It was peculiar. Sopranos have had a wide range of moods and approaches to a given episode and this one just didn't feel energetically, editing wise and emotionall what I would expect from the end.

I think they are just burning off the last 10 or so episodes.

I never saw it before last night, but I thought it was pretty good.
