"Everyone knows the best time to have a baby is when you're a black teenager" is pretty darn funny.

No it's not and it's not even accurate, it's when yo uare a HISPANIC teenager with no money....jeez

I'm sure people who like sarah silverman find dane cook funny too

I don't find Silverman particularly funny but then again I can't really think of a single female comedian that I find amusing.

Whatever. Still, your opinion of her as nonfunny makes more sense than 'people only like her because she's cute.'

Also, you like Grey's Anatomy, so any guilt-by-association arguments on your part are pretty fragile.

I've seen Margaret Cho's act and I can assure you its not funny. Basically, the same one trick pony as the terrible Dat Phan except Cho's jokes alternate between her being Korean and her being fat. Hilarity does not ensue.

I get credit for liking it before it was a 'sensation' and still airing on usndays as a midseason replacement

It's like all those U2 and REM fans who hate the 'new fans' once they became huge

Sarah Silverman's and Dane Cook's acts are essentially polar opposites.

Ok, except that they are both (to me) spectacularly unfunny

I guess the first 2 seasons were the ones that I'd heard about, this is the first season that I'm actually watching. One of the people who got throuhg to Hollywood wears a gorilla mask and hands and does his bits as a silverback gorilla. yeah.....
