We must be careful, TRT has a bomb in this thread.

Time to start a new one fellas.

BSG: End of Line

(the show, not the board)

"This show was always meant to have a beginning, a middle and, finally, an end," Eick and Moore said in a statement on May 31. "Over the course of the last year, the story and the characters have been moving strongly toward that end, and we've decided to listen to those internal voices and conclude the show on our own terms. And while we know our fans will be saddened to know the end is coming, they should brace themselves for a wild ride getting there: We're going out with a bang."

In November, a special two-hour Battlestar episode, "Razor," will air. The fourth season kicks off in early 2008.

I'm pleased with this. I think they'll bring it home in style.

David Greenwalt hasn't had a show make it a full season since he left Mutant Enemy, whether as creator or show runner...most Mutant Enemy people have been rather unsuccesful when venturing out on their own from the beginning (Jane Espenson did a good job at Gilmore Girls, Lost has at least one and Marti Noxon will probably run the greys anatomy spin off next year)

Miracles
Jake 2.0
The Inside
Drive

Just not a lot of luck when coming in from the beginning - or creating

Greenwalt was also exec on profit, which was brilliantly devious, but cancelled, and kidnapped...profit was before the mutant/enemy, buffy angel thing...

Tim Minear is 0 for 4 as EP since the end of angel/buffy

I expected a lot more from him. Then again, look at Ronald Moore, Carnivale and Roswell made it through a couple of seasons, but he had a pretty long draught before BSG came along.

I enjoyed the first season of roswell, but it then got terrible, I think the minear shows have all been very good, but more suited for the shorter season / lower expectations in terms of viewers on cable...i mean showtime gave dead like me and odyssey 5 at least two seasons.

I have enjoyed most of the minear and greenwalt EP'd shows personally.

Then again, I enjoyed brimstone and that UPN show with matthew fox about seeing ghosts.

Oh yeah, i didn't know this until seeing commercials, reaper on the wb which i thought was a brimstone rip off....probably still is but i believe it's being played very very light hearted / comedy

Actually the combo of the two...either give it at least a half season (13 ep) pick up or don't bring it back at all - 7 epsidoes, jeez...sell it to sci-fi or something

I think bringing it back at all is pretty stupid as well...fans have 'saved' shows before, and when they come back they still have bad ratings, usually worse than the season before...i mean how many times did fans save sliders? That show blew monkey chunks

WASHINGTON -- In a victory for TV networks but a setback for efforts to shield children from coarse language, a federal appeals court ruled yesterday that broadcasters cannot be penalized for expletives that are considered impromptu.
The three-judge panel in New York repudiated the Federal Communications Commission's recent crackdown on broadcast indecency, calling its efforts "arbitrary and capricious."

If only this had happened before studio 60 had been cancelled...they could have had less of that irritating asian girl

ok so i am just flipping around during commercial and this show which is like american talents or whatever is on, and there's this host right, with osborne and hasselhoff and he's supposed to be the simon cowell guy brit and all.

so anyway this guy just is tearing stupid people doing stupid routines gong show stuff a new ass hole right on tv and it is hilarious!! his name is pierce and he is hilarious!! osborne just like left the stage and now it's turning into some jerry springer stuff (who also happens to be the ryan seacrist host guy, remarkably enough) which is lame but when he was just like zapping everyone with the loser x and then running them down including like 9 and 10 year olds, i was laughing it up

MTV's Real World past cast member Coral is coiming to Milton PA this Friday and Sunday. I'm amazed that these people are booked at bars and sucks to be her having to come to a small town/area bar :) I have never been one to be intrigued in the idea of meeting celebrities. I'm surprised anybody would want to go out and meet an ex MTV reality series D list celeb.
