I saw the premiere for this new HBO show, Flight of the Conchords, at a bar in Philly last night. Since they plied me with free food and booze, I feel obliged to pimp it.

Plus it was just hilarious, kind of a cross between Spinal Tap and "Extras." Check it:

Has anyone seen the King of Miami on that INHD/"Mojo" channel? I thought it was pretty funny, in an intentionally awkward one-trick-pony kind of way

Swingtown, a "racy" show about swinging couples in the 70s, coming midseason

And that's it. Fox and the CW tomorrow to rap things up.

Wow, this means Jericho is cancelled, right?

FOX wasn't scheduled until this afternoon (4 eastern I believe) but CW was scheduled to release about 2 hours ago...maybe they still aren't sure on Vernoica, or maybe they realized all their shows stink and they are trying to determine how to gracefully bow out and sell smackdown to Sci Fi or USA?

Reaper was good when it starred peter horton and the dude who plays lionel luthor on smallville and it was called brimstone, it'll probably suck on CW

Aliens in America - a sitcom about a muslim teenager in america - that should go over well.

Do people watch the game and girlfriends? Those shows are freaking terrible.

How many 'band' members can the pussycat dolls have or is it like menudo if you get too old you get kicked out?

Life is Wild is another 'brit' remake - shows called wild at heart i believe.

Kitchen Nightmares was a cool show on BBC. Don't know how it will translate here.

I do like Fox launching a drama at 9. But Sundays are a tough night.

During the fall, every week is thrown off because CBS and Fox both get huge lead-ins from football. Then in January, the lead-ins are even bigger because of the playoffs, then you have a primetime Championship game, a week off, the Superbowl, the Grammys, a weeks off, the Oscars, later on CBS gets the Masters lead-in and 3 weeks of College Basketball. It goes on and on.

So starting new shows in January is tough, that's why NBC was smart to schedule established shows there, knowing that the core audience and others will find it.

But it's worth a shot for Fox, it's about time they paired The Simpsons and Family Guy together.

I'm sure in principle it's nice, but sarah connor chornicles is just gonna suck, no matter where it airs.

Is Ramsay hosting kitchen nightmares the american version?

I was in the barber's chair today and saw a Maxim layout of the girls of One Tree Hill.

I'm probably gonna start watching One Tree Hill.

On a related note, Grotewold's barber is temporarily down a chair.

House gets the post-Superbowl timeslot this year. Good call by Fox. Perhaps CBS can learn something from it, with the whole lets give that slot to Criminal Minds decision.

This is terrible that Jericho is canceled, any chance another network picks it up or am I never going to get to see Hawkins again?

Nah, it's done. A few shows have been saved for cancellation, but it's been on cable or the WB or a cartoon.

Let it go.

What was wrong with giving it to criminal minds again? Used to be the post super bowl slot was to launch something new, get a big audience, seems that's going the way of the sit com.
