Chris Albrecht, the powerful Hollywood executive credited with bringing "The Sopranos" and "Sex and the City" to American living rooms, was ousted Wednesday as head of HBO in the wake of his arrest in Las Vegas on suspicion of publicly assaulting his girlfriend.

FNL got a 22 episode order, not a 6 option with scripts and what not. I'll take it, even if it gets left off to the summer, nbc.com or a dvd, it's great news.

NBC has also decided what they want to do with The Office. 24 episode, 4 of them 1 hour (3 sweeps stunts and a season premiere, I guess). Good news not making it an hour long, it would be overkill.

-- MTV never filmed this year's senior class for Laguna Beach season 4, so it looks like the series might be canceled OMG TEENS

-- I read what happened on the Earl finale and it ended how I thought it would, and I don't even watch the show...

Also, ABC will probably pick up Caveman, which was destroyed by AICN.

The cast of Knights has been informed the show might be back, but ABC hasn't told them they'll be renewed.

Interesting Earl finale, kind of predictable with the promos, but interesting to see what they do with the whole jail angle.

Solid Office and Scrubs. There's no way they take Michael away from the actual Office.

I thought there was no way they'd relocate Jim either, but guess what?

very happy to see FNL lights back - I will continue to watch it - even if I have to DVR it and watch it later - it would be nice to see NBC pick up a popular show that didn't quite get great ratings (ex. Surface)

Jericho started off fantastic, got a little boring, but picked up at the end - I hope it continues

I thought Traveler was very good - I will give it a try when it returns.

I watched two more episodes of FNL last night and remembered why I like it so much. Matt Saracen might be the best protagonist to ever happen to me.

I am almost positive that Karen is the one who gets the job. Making Jim and Karen's relationship long distance and now with Pam's intentions known hilarity will surely ensue.

I didn't watch Earl yet, I DVR'ed it... is it worth watching?

I still have to check out FNL. Peter Berg was on NPR about a month ago talking about the show, and the clips they played on the radio were great. It didn't seem like typical crappy TV acting, it was almost like listening to a documentary. I just keep forgetting to watch, b/c I've been catching up on The Wire (almost finished Season 2)

I caught the episode on BET last night where Omar was on the witness stand in the Bird trial. Best TV character ever?

He's up there, but he may not even be best on the show. You need to watch the undedited versions, though.

I know options are limited, but the idea of watching The Wire on BET gives me the shivers.

Also, Bodie > Omar

As to the acting on FNL, while there are a few "teen" characters in who are only average, the coach and his wife are very impressively acted.

Oh, I have. I've seen each season at least twice all the way through on HBO and then DVD.

I loved Bodie, too, but what fascinates me about Omar is how "the game" both repulses and sustains him.

Stringer was great, too, especially how his downfall parallelled that of the police captain who created Hamsterdam in Season 3.

They are cutting too much out. Download the shows or get the dvds, you are truly missing out on something amazing.

Right on Kyle Chandler and Connie Britton. Both are exceptional. Some of the kids are rather average to mediocre, but still, I consistently feel that I'm watching a documentary and not a TV show.

Also, Crossing Jordan is done. And Scrubs is just about done on NBC, still has a good shot to picked up by ABC, but we wouldn't find out until after the upfronts.

So on treveler, the FBI does negotiate with 'terrorists' and theres a grand conspiracy made up of numerous parts to cmmit a terrorist fraud to affect a companies stock and a dad is being blackmailed to set up his dad and no one is talking.

Oh yeah, the mystical bell hop who's really working for the 'bad guys' but feels bad for the kids so he'll show up deus ex machina to get the kids out of trouble when needed but won't give them enough information to actually, you know, help themselves.

I found my willing suspension of disbelief strained quite a bit...
