Any news on Jericho's second season todd?

I hope major dad is still in every episode as the token dead person who enlightens the main character.

Maybe they can merge Jericho and Ghost Whisperer into some sort of supershow.

God I hate that ghost whisperer show...i make th gf go upstairs to watch that nonsense

Hopefully if they re-up Jericho, they actually give them a special effects budget.

People actually watched dirt?

I watched Dirt. It's a terrible show.

Buzz right now is The Knights of Prosperity and Notes from the Underbelly will get second seasons.

Also, ABC will probably pick up Caveman, which was destroyed by AICN.

Knights of Prosperity is apparently going to have Ray Romano as the mark.

The idea presented to the network in February-March was that they would take the episodes already shot and shoot new ones robbing Ray Romano. Renewal was partially predicated on Romano agreeing to do the show.

Whatever works. The show was really funny, deserves a shot to succeed.

Guesses are Sam I Am and Miss/Guided get picked up and put on the top of the hours (probably on Tues or Wed). Nights and Notes would slide into the half hours.

Also mentioned that George Lopez and According to Jim have a shot to come back, with George Lopez having the inside track.

Shark is supposed to move into the Friday at 9 slot, with the new Jimmy Smits Sopranos-esque Latino crime drama getting Thursdays at 10. This takes away a possible time for Jericho, which with 3 other CBS dramas expected to be picked up, now puts the show in not so good position.

Til Death is also expected back, should be paired with the already picked up Patricia Heaton/Kelsey Grammar anchorman comedy.

NBC should also be picking up a lot of dramas, which doesn't bode well for Friday Night Lights. Damnit.

It originally aired on one night (I forget which) and then they moved it to a different night starting the second week. I believe it's now on Wed. @ 8:30

I'm not sure what was going on there. Perhaps ABC really wants to pick up Notes, and wants to hold as many episodes from the 13 episode order this year over for next season. So instead of kind of running them off against Idol on a dead night for the network, they throw out some Lopez repeats.

Jericho also matched a series low rating in the demo last night, not looking too good there.

Yea, I don't like how networks just roll over for any successful show. American Idol not only jacks up other channels, but it sometimes preempts House. And that ain't cool.

Idol overall is down this year.

I expect ABC and NBC to be aggressive in programming the Idol's timeslot in the fall. Hopefully something sticks then and they keep it on in the winter. ABC had Dancing with the Stars in the fall, but they moved it to avoid Idol come March. NBC tried Friday Night Lights, but that failed. Criminal Intent was 9 was a really weak move.

CBS eventually beat the once dominate NBC Thursdays, ABC is doing the same to CBS right now. Idol isn't unbeatable, you just have to try to beat it.

YOu say it like it's a new phenomenon to avoid programming against big shows that get high ratings...it's just not a smart thing to do with a new show...Greys anatomy started on a sunday, got a big following and then ABC moved it to thursday to fight it out with CSI...CSI didn't start on Thursday at 9 either...X-Files which was a sunday staple on Fox stared on Fridys until the audience built.

The problem is more that nuturing quality but underappreciated shows that build audiences is a dead art...shows like cosby, cheers, seinfeld...they'd never make it in todays arena cause they started off slow and audiences slowly found them.
