great show- I never really watched it until this season (saw various shows from the first two seasons) - but it is a great show

I'm not sure if anyone here watches "Run's House" on MTV - but it's a pretty good show for an MTV production

NBC ordered 6 new scripts of Friday Night Lights today. The media seems to think this indicates the chances the show comes back are greater, which is a good thing.

just a terrific finale to friday night lights. cant say enough about the show. ended at a point where we could we closure to the series, yet also there is a material to make a second season (and a bit of a second pilot, since they hope to be dealing with some new viewers).

What a great show. I really hope that it comes back. I wouldn't be shocked if Smash took up the offer he received. I've read that theres a possibility that they have one player leave Dillon so that they can follow two teams. I'm fine with the way things are.
A great finale for a great show. Hopefully it was a season finale, not a series finale.

Anyone recognize that final play as the last play for Boise State in regulation in the Fiesta Bowl?

Yea I noticed that right away. I also like how the team only has 3 players, so Smash and Riggins are involved on literally every offensive play. Perhaps next year they can incorporate a few side characters on the team, or at least a wide out.

I've only watched the first 8 eps and then last night's finale (and I was kind of drunk), so is the coach really gone? There will be a whole new coach/protagonist next season?

So you missed the part where he said he was going to stay in dillon and his wife said he shouldn't (like when he said they were moving to austin and she said he wasn't and he said she was but in the end they decided to live in a split town)

Family > Football, wife pregnant, team is a family

Dudes not leaving dillon

Though that speech at the end from crippled QB was just silly...of course most of the show, while enjoyable is after school special stuff

Anybody still watching Jericho? Last night was Hawkins reveal night (at least from Hawkins' perspective). However, I almost think they revealed too much, assuming its all true. Love that Daniel Benzali is now on the show and appears to be the head bad guy.

I'm watching, but I haven't watched last night's episode yet. Did they reveal Hawkins to be one of the terrorists?
Fine. You wanna act like you're two? I'll act like I'm one.

I figured out how to watch Jericho. If you just watch the Hawkins part and FF through the rest, it becomes an enjoyable show.

Emily is annoying but I actually thought that Mimi's discussions with the chicken yesterday were funny.

you could take it both ways. open ended series finale if it is one, either he stays in dillon or goes to austin. viewers call.

chances are they will get some kind of second season, and surely kyle chandler will remain head coach of the panthers and the star of the show. easy back ins: talk with his wife, parking in the reserved for coach taylor spot (not somewhere else, i.e. he is still coach taylor).

They're setting up Street as a potential head coach.

Yeah, i got that, very inspirational that the high school drop out cripple would become a head coach.

Yeah, I'm totally confused, probably because I was flipping back and forth between that and the Phils game. I remember the speech he gave to the team about how he has dreams, too, and he knows they feel betrayed. That means he's out, right? I'm all mixed up.

Also, I watched last night even though I'm not yet caught up because of some desire and support for them to pick up the show for another season. But if I don't have a Nielson box or fill out a survey or whatever, is it just a symbolic gesture?
