This is great deal for every season except for 2010. Taylor wasn't going to play next year anyway, so it's not like we're giving anything up there, but we did just deal away our biggest theoretical chance of becoming an odds-on World Series favorite by having a three-headed Cy Young.

Only a 3-year extension is pretty boss by Captain Smugheart.

I don't like to wear jerseys and do not buy them, but just bought a Lee jersey 2 weeks ago. Now I will root for him to get lit the fuck up and get sent back to the minors like in 2007. Greedy prick.

I'm not sure why you wouldn't keep the Lee jersey. He still pitched two of the best postseason games EVER for the Phillies no matter what happens.
