I hope there's no selectivity bias, here, but it really seems like Jimmy has gotten under the collective skins of the Mets, and he really seems to enjoy it there.

Can Reyes really be as, um, sensitive as those quotes make him out to be?

I mean, he wants to showboat after a home run. Fine. It's part of the game, part of the fun. But when you get called on it, don't whine about how other guys do it.

Has the guy bothered to read any of his teammates comments over the past 2 years?

It's nice having a rivalry again.... best Phillies rivalry since the early 80's with the Pirates.

I don't know if I want Utley storming out of the dugout and killing people. I think he might get suspended for a game or two.

I think it would be a useful thing for Eaton to do though.

I would advocate keeping Eaton on the roster for that sole reason. Just promote him for Mets series as the enforcer. Let's face it, nobody's claiming him off waivers.
