1 year, $5 million. Nice deal for LA, and I guess not bad for Wolf given this market.

The Angels and free agent outfielder Bobby Abreu have struck a one-year agreement, according to a report by SI.com.
The deal is worth $5 million plus incentives, the Web site reported.

Hopefully the Angels and Bobby realize he's a DH and not an OF'er.

1 year $5M for Bobby Abreu who is younger, probably a better fielder, and a better all-around batter than Raul Ibanez who got 3 years $31.5...not right.

They have a lot of "ex-OF current-DH" types.

WaPo

The Washington Nationals have agreed to a preliminary deal with 29-year-old free agent Adam Dunn, a signing that would fulfill their offseason-long search for a left-handed power hitter. Two independent sources have told the Post that Dunn will sign a two-year deal, possibly announced as early as tomorrow.

More details coming.
