I am gonna get 9 hours of sleep tonight because this baseball team has sapped my will to stay awake, so I should be well rested tomorrow.

I'm positively relieved that the Phillies are not on Extra Innings tonight.

For the month of August (thus far), the Phils offense has positively been teh suck... fewest hits in majors, worst BA in NL, 2nd worst (NL) in runs, 27th in SLG and OPS.

A lot of good signs form tonight's game. Rollins is still really stroking the ball, Utley continues to hit, Burrell went 2-4 and of course Howard hit the two HRs. Seems like the heart of the order is coming around just in time.

The problem, in case anyone hadn't noticed, is that the Phils don't have a setup man which, ironically, is hurting them more than the Mets not having Wagner. How many games have been lost recently in the 8th inning?
