Alright, alright, alright. The Phillies should offer Alex Rodriguez for Manny Ramirez, but that has to be our final offer. I'm sick of this shit.

Blame game over Manny

Yet another official with one of these three teams says the Manny-Bay deal is dead. In the aftermath, the teams involved seem unsure of what happened. The Pirates are blaming the Marlins. The Marlins are blaming the Pirates. And the Red Sox aren't too happy with either of them.

My 1800th post is a piece of life-advice: when in doubt, blame the Pirates.

my sources tell me the deal is 95% complete, pending the completion of the rest of the deal.

Well, I've had it. Manny Ramirez can be a Nippon Ham Fighter for all I care.

ESPN's Jayson Stark said an official with one of the clubs said the three-team Red Sox-Marlins-Pirates deal is dead.

According to Stark's source: "The Pirates are blaming the Marlins. The Marlins are blaming the Pirates. And the Red Sox aren't too happy with either of them." We fully expect another update five minutes from now saying a deal is nearly done.

For anything more than Jayson Werth and some mid-level prospect, I don't even really want him. Can we call Tornto up one more time and essentially open our farm system up to them? Name any 4 they'd like for Roy Halladay. Five if they drive a hard bargain.

KR was scooped badly. Gammons had this while KR was saying that talks had progressed. Shame.

Well, remember, KR is still a teenager. An old man like Gammons still has a trick or two up his sleeve, not to mention that he is Manny Ramirez's lover.

Well yeah, but Gammons works in the Red Sox front office. Its obvious he knew. Rosenthal was hedging.
