Olympics

There's some bizarre track cycling event on USA right now. And, for you America haters, US athletes don't seem all that prominent.

It seems like a real life version of Rollerball, there's a motorcycle involved.

Kieren is what it's called.

OK, this doesn't seem as exciting as they made it sound at first. "You can see the tension". Well, I want action, not tension. OK, they're speeding up now a little.

we're currently in 4th. cuba is 4-0, korea 2-0, japan 2-1, we're 2-2, china is 1-2, and then canada, netherlands, and taiwan are 1-3. you need to finish in the top 4 to make the medal round.

us will play china on monday, taiwan on tuesday, and japan on wednesday.

China won a baseball game? Fer crying out loud, they just started playing baseball like two years ago (baseball was banned by the Chinese government until a couple of years ago).

Better stay away from the Phillies.

That was the one and only Olympics event I've gone out of my way to see, and it was pretty exciting if ultimately disappointing.

Another silver for the Torres and the US. Still, hot, hot, hot. I'm thinking if Jamie Moyer can still pitchat 45, there's no reason Torres can't compete in 2012.

He's gotta run through the line there. He could have gone sub 9.6.

Just a freak of nature though. I'm hopeful that some NBC branch will show him in the 200 live. It sucked seeing that race knowing he already won.
