I understand this guy has every reason to be arrogant, but that's... breathtaking.

Totally agree here. I did a double take when I heard him say that. Every article I've read about Spitz in the past month made him come accross as extremely arrogant. His appearance tonight on NBC did nothing but cement that belief tonight. Obviously, winning his 7 golds was a great accomplishment, but he's a bit too much to take.

The 20k race walk thing has got to be the funniest thing the Olympics has to offer. Looks like they took every track team, got them drunk, and made them race on a track of broken glass.

Indeed. I don't like women this muscular. way too masculine. I like soft features adn feminine lines... on a male-female attraction tip that is... I can respect an athelte, just don't want to date her...

I don't get this elimination round; do they just play a bunch of games and the top four move on?

Men's baseball team edged out Canada to improve to 2-2. Looks like Marson and Donald are playing every game now.

we're currently in 4th. cuba is 4-0, korea 2-0, japan 2-1, we're 2-2, china is 1-2, and then canada, netherlands, and taiwan are 1-3. you need to finish in the top 4 to make the medal round.

us will play china on monday, taiwan on tuesday, and japan on wednesday.
