Rickey sounds line he is offering to fight a team's best player.

Worthless

I'm not sure how my post ended up looking this way. While the lack of walks is surprising, my feeling is that he pulled out of his slump a few days ago and will be looking pretty good for the foreseeable future.

I hadn't been following the standings too closely since we weren't doing well, but the Nationals still don't even have 10 wins

What's with the Orioles broadcasts this season? First the bloody sock thing from Gary Thorne, and now this from Rick Dempsey:

Laura Giuliani, wife of slumping Baltimore outfielder Jay Gibbons, was invited to the booth during Saturday's telecast to promote a fundraiser to help fight domestic violence.

"Laura, will this kind of help Jay in the domestic violence area? If he doesn't start getting a few more hits, you might grab him around the neck and rough him up a little bit," Dempsey began.

Giuliani was clearly taken aback, but Dempsey still didn't catch on. "Well, I'll domestically violate him if he doesn't start getting some more hits."

John Parrish making it difficult for the orioles to hold on to their 5-2 lead...bradford coming in bases loaded and one out - luckily for him it's pena and pedroia
