Holy ARod
you sure do seem to have a lot of time on your hands to be on this forum? Do you have a job? Are you a shut-in?

RBI's are pretty meaningless. Can't tell from that stat which of the two has truly been more productive.

Yanks were down to their last strike three times in that game.

Of course, since A-Rod has an option after this season this is all just about his next contract...

and besides, it don't count until october

And Miguel Cabrera just left the mets/marlins game in the 2nd inning.

That triple by Mr Reyes was quite exciting

They reported that he has a 'stiffness' in his side...he was removed as a precaution...no other report.

The marlins pitcher is imploding at the moment

Thanks, just wondering.

You have to admit, that Reyes kid is pretty good. If not for Jimmy's awesome start, I would be really jealous.

also
PA with runners on base
Bourn: 4, total PA 9
Arod: 36, total PA 62

Here's something kinda odd
Bourn's numbers are EXACTLY the same as last year right now
.125 .222 .125
1 for 8 with a walk

I have Howard and Cabrera on my fantasy team, I'm surprised Hafner didn't go down today as well.

I didn't mean to imply that it did. Reyes is flashy AND good. As a baseball fan, he's fun to watch. As a Phillies phan, I can't stand him.

That's basically how I feel. If he were a Phillie, he'd probably be my favorite player. He is going to get better too, and he is already pretty damn good.

It's 7-6 in the top of the 9th in boston

A-Rod up in the 9th - abreu on first - and he lines out to Pedroia.

Brad Lidge comes into a 6-2 9th inning lead

Gwynn Jr walk + stolen base
Weeks walk

Hardy K
Fielder 3-run HR...6-5
Hall groundout
Estrada double to deep left-center

Lidge out

2 relievers later, Houston holds on for the win

KC is about to beat the Twins, so the Phils will be the worst team in the majors again...

Do other teams play better games and win more than the Pgilies? Seriously, I turned on my phone to check the score right before we played and I saw that it was 1-0 on a 1 hitter. Then it wasn't wow.
Fine. You wanna act like you're two? I'll act like I'm one.
