damn. guess that means there'll be no dukes mound charging incident.

you didn't predict the Dickie V sighting, either.

kazmir was really challenging the top of the orioles lineup with his fastball. he seems to be loading knott up with changeups.
if you don't know what the wrestlers are trying to do--how certain moves and holds are supposed to work and so forth, then it might just look like too sweaty guys rolling around on a mat.

Oh. I'm replying to a Steagles post. Um. OK.

The Tigers are playing an afternoon game today. I missed most of it.

Todd Jones gets his first blown save of the season, giving up 2 runs in the 9th against K.C. He also raised his ERA from 0.00 to 2.16. This ruins a good performance by Jeremy Bonderman, who gave up 1 run on 3 hits in 7.

K.C. currently leads 4-3 going into the last of the 10th.

elijah dukes: the answer to, and cause of, all the devil rays' problems.

A former Phillies outfielder just absolutely butchered a flyball in Yankee Stadium.

And it wasn't the guy to the left!

He just redeemed himself with an RBI single.

EDIT: oh, wait, you meant Dellucci. Well, Michaels made up for his RBI single in the next half-inning with a horrific throw from right, badly missing the cutoff man, allowing a run to score.

Ouch, between this and Myers being put in the bullpen, my fantasy teams took a big hit today.

omgomg albert tried a straight steal of home in the top of the 12th. they got him, but only because he stopped 10 feet away from the plate. the catcher dropped the ball but had time because pujols had stopped.
