I thought the Vikings had a good defense.

I thought the party nominating Trump was some sort of punishment for all my sins in life. An Eagles-Pats Super Bowl is just fucking miserable. I genuinely hate this so much.

10 years ago today the New York football Giants beat the 18-0 Pats in the Super Bowl

It was good

Even if the unlikely happens and the Eagles manage to win, they'll be beating a far inferior Patriots team. So we got that going for us.

What is the history/reasoning behind TV and jh hating the Eagles so much? I don't watch football, but something about the Eagles was always a bit off-putting to me.

I think they just grew up in Giants country. There are lots of Jersey Giants fans, even pretty far south..

Now me, I grew up an Eagles fan but grew to really hate the NFL and its role in our culture. The Eagles are just the local representative and don't vary from the norm, so they get the focus of my dislike (hate would be a bit much). Can't shed my upbringing though, so I still root for them vs. Dallas or New England.
