Eagles have a better shot to get hot and maybe get to the Super Bowl. Chip is miles ahead of Garrett. Romo isn't healthy enough to win 3-4 games in January. Dallas missing the playoffs might cause them to reevaluate their organization in a way that benefits them long term, not the case for the Eagles.

I wasn't really rooting for Dallas tonight, and would be perfectly happy if Indy beats them next week to give the Eagles the upper hand again. Though if we can knock you out of the playoffs, I will be rooting for the GMen in week 17, draft pick be damned.

It would be kind of awesome, given how it seems half the Eagles fans think the team should tank the rest of the season and trade up for Mariota, if the Eagles lost the next two, but managed to beat the Giants and the Eagles end up both missing the playoffs and get a pick where there's no realistic chance of getting Mariota.
