I've tinkered with some apps for the iPhone camera, and I think that VSCO Cam is the best editing tool. It's simple and not all cheesy like most camera apps/filters. As an example, I took this at the shore a few weeks back and used the app to edit it:

And I know it's all sorts of precious, but are any of you dicks on Instagram? My user name is brendanquinn

So I'm thinking of selling my Olympus gear and going with Canon or Nikon. Judging my ebay, I can get about $800 for my current body and main lens. Any suggestions as to which way I should go?

I was able to shoot from the field before the game to cover a first-pitch ceremony. Here's some of the other stuff.

I love how Wright looks like a 6-year-old in this.

In Photoshop, is there a way to choose a a color from a picture you have taken and then use it in another file. For example, I want to take the color of a tree I photographed and use it in an icon I'm making for my class website.

And in a closely related question, is there a way to find out the color number for that color? For example, a website that could recognize it and give me the color number.

I hope I'm making some sense.

Yeah, click on one of the color pallete boxes and then just click in the image where you want to retain the color. Eyedropper tool will show up and the color should stay in your palete when you switch to the new image. when you select it it'll give you the RGB/hex #'s, etc...
