Chase Bank here has new ATMs (inside only) that give you options to get $5 and $1 bills

people are busy, i get it. but when someone is going to several weddings/funerals in a short period of time, i think it's rude to tell the principals (be they the bride/groom of the surviving family) that. "Man, I have weddings three weekends in a row!" . Or "this is my third funeral this week!". It sorts takes what is a special or profoundly sad time for someone and trivializes it, even though that is not the intention.

Here's a peeve about a pet: One of my cats not only decides to lay on our bed in such a way as to make us uncomfortable, she also spends much of the night walking all over us, to move from one annoying position to another.

A guy I work with always thanks people in his emails with "Thanks, Bob" (my coworker's name is not Bob).

No. Commas in the direct speech example indicate brief pauses. My apologies to all grammarians.

The saying “It’s 5 o’clock somewhere” when drinking before 5 o’clock

the last half of my 35 mile drive to work is on a state route that is just a windy, country road. lately i've been getting behind this white lincoln that looks to be driven by a middle age man for the last 5-6 miles. he doesn't exceed the speed limit and usually drives 2-3 mph below it. if we pass a speed limit sign that decreases the speed, he'll hit the brakes right when we get to the sign. today, terrifyingly, he appeared in front of me in the town that starts the last half of my drive. there's pretty much zero opportunity to pass him once you're stuck behind him, though the other day some lady finally had enough and passed a long line of cars in a no passing zone to get by him.
