Looking for "The Strike"/Festivus episode. Hoping to burn to a DVD.

I'm not too familiar with downloading TV/movies so I'm not sure which sites are trustworthy, but I have downloaded from Rapidshare before with no problems.

These links might work for you. However (disclaimer!), I accept no responsibility if you contract a virus or any other unwanted material.

http://rapidshare.com/files/168755563/S ... .part1.rar

http://rapidshare.com/files/168757454/S ... .part2.rar

Once you have both .rar files downloaded, select them both, right-click, and select "Extract here" (wherever here is -- may be your desktop, or a downloads folder, etc.). That should work for you.

If you choose the free version, you may have to wait a while before downloading the second one. There's probably a way to get around the waiting period but I don't know how.

Hope that helps.

I don't know how I didn't realize until now that the NBC exec who wanted to give Jerry another change on the last episode was Boon from Animal House.
Yes son. I'm the best mono-thingy guy there ever was.

the sponge

the seven

the best 5 episode run of seinfeld, and maybe the best of any show ever. the writing in those episodes, especially the gum (my fav episode) is unbelievable.

Personal favorites for me include the dealership, the glasses, and the statue. All of them have scenes that blow my mind how good they are. In the dealership, the scene where George has the argument with the complaint desk about the missing Twix. In the glasses, the scene where Elaine thinks she has rabies. In the statue, the scene where Kramer masquerades as a cop to steal back the statue. Simply amazing stuff.

Show is 15 years old since the last episode almost -- and still holds up. The teaser we got with the Seinfeld reunion inside the Larry David show thing a couple years ago, only made me hungry for more. They were still great... the iToilet ... Madoff... Elaine with a Kid... it was still good stuff...

One thing I've never understood -- with a winning combo like that, why not periodically just pull it together and do 3-4 episodes. You don't have to re-commit your life to it -- you can come up with 3-4 solid epsiodes worth of material, the "install base is huge" and it would break all kinds of records for viewership so its a money-maker -- and the risk to degrade artistic integrity is low. Or what if they just did 1 episode every so often. Imagine the viewership?! People getting that fix.

That way the actors don't have to go backwards...they'd be funny in their 70's...

Why repain the MOna Lisa? I'm just saying drop a few epsisodes every-so-often... Its not like LOST they don't have to have continuity to a larger arc.

Favorite moments of Seinfeld??? Way too many to recount - but:

"I've got hand, and you're gonna need it"

"Not that there's anything wrong with that..."

"That's one magic loogy"

"Drake, Chunky, Chuckles, YooHoo, Junior Mint, Pez, etc..."

"You are very very bad man..."

Bookman
Jackie
Mickey

"You're a rabid anti-dentite"

Great great great show!!!!

The Chinese Restaurant has the best moment in the entire show, for me. Where they're waiting and George is screaming about not being able to get on the pay phone, Elaine is ranting about how she's hungry, and Jerry worried about the woman he can't identify. I've been really into early Seinfeld lately. The older stuff is funny, but gimmickey.
