hasn't been a new episode in 7.5 years, and it's still the best show on tv.

Boxset is 200+ for the entire series. Looking to find a place that has it at least 40% off somewhere.
Check The Good Phight, you might learn something.

jerry seinfeld and the lawyers for castle rock entertainment (syndicator of the show) tried to sue me in 2001 for selling tapes of the show on ebay and other internet sites. This was before the DVD craze and i had most of the original episodes on VHS. They sent me a cease and desist letter and said if i didnt comply they would see me in california municpal court. needless to say I stopped. they were just trying to scare me, but worked.

so i clearly refuse to buy any seinfeld dvd's.

true story.

I bought the individual seasons as they came out. Now I'm thinking of gifting them off to my brother for christmas and buying the box set for myself.

Well that's not exactly legal, is it? The rights are reserved for the broadcast which you taped.

been off for more 7.5 years hasn't it?

I want to get the big box set too, but I have all the volumes seperately already. The DVDs have really made me appreciate how good the show was as I had gotten sort of tired of the same repeats.

edit: wow, July 5, 1989 to May 14, 1998

been almost 10 years

No it wasnt. But I didnt apreciate people worth $100 million + coming after a poor college kid. But I understood why they did it.

personally I thought the show ended at the absolute earliest, 1999, but now when I think about it, 1998 makes sense

Seinfeld had its moments, but I thought Frasier was funnier.

I vote "Kung Fu" as best show ever. Yeah, I went there.
