And I agree they hold up well, 15 years after many of the classic episodes. That said, I can't imagine ever getting the DVDs because the re-runs are constantly on.

The show was really about the writing, not the actual acting, but outside of Jerry, they were all good actors, and he was just a standup comedian trying to act. The show pushed the envelope in terms of what you could say/do on tv in prime time, and the production/technical aspects of the show were cutting edge at the time.

No way, both are brilliant but AD appeals to your higher tastes, plus there's still stuff that you find in repeated watchings that you dont catch the first viewing, Seinfeld isnt that complex

Seasons 3-4-5 of Seinfeld matches the 3 best years of any tv show ever produced.
