I have the Logitech Harmony. I use it with a Wii U, EPSON projector, Yamaha head, Samsung blu ray, Apple TV, fire tv stick, Chromecast, and some older stuff too. Works great with everything.
Fine. You wanna act like you're two? I'll act like I'm one.

which harmony? i really need to take the plunge and just get one instead of using tv/cable/receiver remotes all of the time.

I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on this nano drone. I first saw it advertised on a banner ad at the bottom of a page here. I have been contemplating a go pro but have since been swayed to this instead. Granted it will probably be banned from ski areas, parks, lakes and my condominium community... But until then I can see myself getting great video and pictures.

i think i second guess every tech purchase i make. I stumbled on a chart that shows how big your tv should be based on how far away you're viewing it from, and i feel like i should have bought a bigger tv. but i didn't think that before seeing the chart. so dumb

Endgadget Dash Earbuds Review. I'd recommend reading the whole thing as there are some issues that the reviewer didn't think were huge issues that you might (the largest one being that the things don't seem to work that well connecting with your phone in your pocket while outdoors). TL;DR - A really good first shot but not without their flaws - 82/100.

Spotify now has native Amazon echo support. You need a Spotify premium account, but this checks off probably my biggest "wish list" item for Alexa.

Also added this week is support to order dominos pizza and an Uber from your echo.

its called a jacket or a 2 liter bottle. 2 liter bottle fit perfectly in my firebird for leveling the pizzas i delivered. a jacket works the best and helps with keeping the pizza hot though

This is such a great development for me. The Echo keeps getting better.

Thinking of taking a Coursera certificate this summer to learn arduino and raspberry pi. I'd like to use it a bit in my classroom with my ESL kids and I wouldn't mind learning how to make a some stuff for around the house. Anyone have any experience with this?

I've taken come Coursera classes including one for Python and enjoyed it but I looked at the site recently and it seems like they started charging for everything, and it didn't seem cheap

if you're going to pay for one of these services, I'd probably go with Lynda, though they may not have the hardware side
