idk, seems like another thing i'd have worry about charging and carrying around all the time. seems kind of useless, considering the way many are adapting to technology

I agree that the whole "wtf, another device to carry around/charge, plus it weighs AS MUCH AS A BANANA" argument carries weight (haha weight), but people do like their tangibility - witness vinyl records minor resurgence (something I really don't get)....

Anyway, based on this crowdsourced intelligence, I'll probably not preorder one or anything.

Can I use Lily to spy on my neighbors?

Lily is always pointing at you and less than 100ft from you (pro tip: best shots are in the 10-30ft range). Also, Lily’s motors make noise. So other people will most likely notice Lily and quickly figure out where you are. You are better off climbing up a tree and using binoculars.

hahaha, someone had a quadracopter at the fire i just returned from. big commercial building, probably provided some good high altitude recon of the scene. I was on the opposite side from the command post, so I didn't get to see any of the footage. Hopefully we'll get the footage on DVD.
