Yeh, I think it's a few hundred for the 5 courses, but the school will pay for it out of my PD budget or a tech budget we have. Or at least I think they will. We are starting a STEM program and this would fit nicely there.

I have Lynda through my Aquaculture masters program with the Univ of Florida, so I can access Lynda any time. I did look on there and didn't see much about hardware.

What do you mean crap? Don't work? Sound like crap? Aukey ones are on sale on amazon like every day and they work well and don't sound awful. They definitely don't sound good though.

Also are you exercising outside? Bluetooth works much better when the signal can bounce off surfaces so it may just be a bad connection if you're outside.

Somebody posted one in the rolling deals thread a few months ago that I got and have been satisfied with.

I like them because the battery and control piece sits on your shoulders/base of neck. This gives it great battery life, easy to access controls and has no weight on the ear pieces other than the bud so it's really comfortable. The sound quality is solid B, it's not mind bowing but, it's definitely better than passable.

My in-laws couldn't really figure out how to use Tile, so they gave me their 4 pack. Very cool, but until the battery drain isn't crazy I'll be keeping it only on my iPad at home. That's where I lose my keys most anyway

Just had a total impulse buy of this Marshall Bluetooth speaker at Best Buy. It was $299. I was considering going down the sonos route but I dig the portability of this speaker and it sounds awesome and looks cool. I have yet to take it out of the box. Anyone want to persuade or dissuade me in a particular direction?

Not sure what route I'd go anymore. I was kinda enamored with sonos for a while. But with Chromecast audio coming out it kinda makes sonos a little too expensive. Plus I'd much prefer a wifi enabled speaker over a Bluetooth speaker for audio conversion reasons.

Ditched HTC after they ditched support for the HD HTC tv streaming capabilities with the m9.. Lame. But gonna unlock and sell on eBay for hundreds o dollars. So def worth it.
