Not sure it necessarily would. It's not like Pence himself is some bastion of popularity. He might close the gap some, but enough? Doesn't seem likely.

Also seems less likely that Pence would be in favor of destroying democracy by contesting the election in the courts. He would concede.

Also, it would be pretty easy to convince the QIdiots that this is all a Deep State plot to get Pence over Trump.

Just seems like there are enough Republican voters who are either voting Biden or not voting at all because they don't like Trump, but would switch sides in a second and support Pence even if they don't like him. Some diehard MAGAs may not vote, but I think most would hold their nose and vote Pence.

Monday was tax returns. 4 days later he's being airlifted for covid. What a week.

Chris Christie, just now on ABC, says he has "not been contacted by the White House" re covid/contact tracing. Says he found out about Hicks's diagnosis through media reports last night... went this a.m. in NJ to get a test. Will receive results first thing Sat a.m....

Christie says he was around POTUS Sat-Tues at WH for debate prep. "We were all pretty well spread out .. I was probably 3-4 ft away from the president."  Says He didn't see any symptoms from him or Hicks during those 4 days.

@slowy, I think that it might have the opposite effect. It would show that the head of the COVID taskforce is willing to lie until YOU die. That's not a good look for him. He's part of the SH**Machine that got Trump to this point either as complicit or incompetent or (D) all of the above.

I wouldn't read too much into his ability to walk to the chopper other than that he isn't on a vent yet.
