I mean, I think it would backfire on him with the undecideds. Those who are already decided will vote for Joe regardless. Also, the Lincoln Project and lib SuperPACS are not bound to follow Joe’s lead. Keeping classy won’t hurt him.

Ok, here's the "October Surprise" story.....
Back in March, Trump works out a deal with "Lenny" from Regeneron to have a Covid Cure in time for the election. He's known the virus is deadly since at least February. He's purposefully made it spread and kill more than it should to make it an even scarier threat. Then, SHOCKINGLY, he gets the deadly disease. Oh no! But wait, there's a new, experimental cure but it needs to go through testing. "Just give it to me now!" and like a real, American hero he takes the "cure" and low and behold, he's cured! Just a week before the election, he's cured Covid, heroically
