Does this hurt or help Trump? Considering the election is a month away and he will need to quarantine for about half that time I am guessing...hurt.

Also, Trump is in such horrendous shape, it may just kill the poor guy. That would be very sad.

If he does end up being a asymptomatic and recovers quickly it’s a mortal lock he’ll try to insist on going through with 2nd debate as scheduled and try to spin it that Biden is the one cancelling the debate, he’s missing all his campaign rallies which appear to be his favorite things on the planet and he’ll be losing what’s left of his mind in quarantine, plus he’s running out of time to close gap

Quarantine also hurts his fund raising since nearly all his key campaign staffers went to his fundraiser in NJ today (despite hicks getting sick yday) so now they’ll all need to go into timeout too

Apparently Hicks tested negative the morning of the debate but started showing symptoms later.

I'm seeing a couple sources saying Pence's office has declined to give a report on Pence. He apparently saw Trump right after the debate at the WH. If both have it, they'll just have to postpone the election until they are better.

Hicks also met with Pelosi recently I read and obviously trump was spewing particles near Biden all night

You’re overthinking this. Rs who think like this would have rationalized 10 different scenarios already to be at peace with voting for him.

Also, no one likes pence. Women hate him probably more than trump.

Day just started, but the most surprising thing is the White House didn’t spend most of the day trying to cover this up and lying ineptly about it.

Also, if trump got it from hicks, isn’t there a pretty good possibility he wasn’t infectious during the debate on Tuesday? That is I’m pretty sure there is a period of time between exposure and when you can infect others.

The symbolism of him being positive while Joe ideally is not is staggering.

If he's tested daily, they should be able to pinpoint at 1-2 day range when he caught it (probably Tuesday, so Biden would be in the clear). But it wouldn't surprise me at all if he decided not to do tests every day or maybe not at all if everyone around him is tested daily.

My first thought, he would tweet: "We got a bad round of tests, they have been thrown out. All Clear!"

But since Hicks and Melania are also down, I guess it's more likely he goes with "We've all been working so hard and meeting real Americans, unfortunately someone has passed the virus to us. But like I have said all along, this is NO BIG DEAL. We all feel great and will be back out in a couple days!!!"

He said so many ridiculous things at the debate that him making fun of Biden for wearing masks got overlooked.

I’m sure his boys Boris and Jair will send him some tips.

Absolutely. And while this certainly gives Biden plenty of material, I hope he does not try to score points with this. A simple tweet wishing the Trumps and Hicks a speedy recovery will suffice.
