Finally have to pay the piper re: jury duty. It’s a pretty nice setup so far. Wouldn’t mind getting a one or two day case.

I was fostering a kitten. It died. Really made it clear how fast I get attached to pets, I very much didn't think we could keep him.

Yea. Had some kind of wound/broken leg when it made it's way to my wife's vet hospital. It just developed a systemic infection and couldn't pull through it.

I've been fostering a dog for almost 2 years now. He's being put down tomorrow morning. Sorry for your loss.

I've never had to put down a dog; growing up we had two dogs, one of whom was killed by a car after getting loose from our house when I was about 10 and that was crushing, the second lived with my folks until I was about 25 and I was not there when he had to make the final trip to the vet. But I've had to do it with four cats now and it gets harder every time.

Ok. So this whole thing sucked but the nurse was explaining how all of the shots couldn't go in the same spot so I was told she was going to give me two in the butt (and one in the arm). I'm just glad I got to have two in the butt at least once.
