I know this is an old bit, but imagine if Obama did any one of the 100 insane things Trump did in the past few days

Really not an Obama stan and was disappointed in many ways by his administration. Better than Clinton but was way too beholden to the foreign policy blob and the good government boys in the think tanks. Never fully understood his enemy either.

That being said, he never would have done any of the shit that Trump just pulled, and if he did, the pitchforks and torches would be out.

New CNN poll has Biden at +16 nationwide. That's great news for those of you scared that Trump will successfully steal the election through the courts. There is no way the majority of SC justices will look at those types of poll numbers, review the election results which reflect the Biden blowout predicted by the polls, and still rule in favor of Trump based on the validation of his claims of voter fraud.

Not gonna happen.

No doubt, Obama would have been impeached dozens of times by now by the GOP-led House, costing the American taxpayers hundreds of millions, if not billions, in the process.

FWIW - I predict the next Dem POTUS presiding over a House with a GOP majority will be impeached in retribution for the Trump impeachment.

Hopefully, that never happens. If it does (and honestly I'm sure it will), that iteration of the GOP is much different than the current version.

Imagine if Hilary had won. How many times do you think she would have been impeached by now?

New Monmouth poll: Biden +12 in PA.

Seems like Trump's handling of his own COVID diagnosis and treatment will be the final nail in his figurative (and perhaps literal) coffin.

You probably more want to look at the +8/+11 in the likely voters. I think we're past the point where registered voters matter much for polling (will need Google, JH, or someone else smart to chime in). Either way great polls for Biden.

yeah i mean any way you slice this poll its great news for biden. essentially a +8-11 in a poll that was very trump friendly last time. this is not a competitive election right now.

Likely voter screens are not always clear cut. Different poll firms use different methodologies--Monmouth actually appears to be using at least two methods. In some elections, a lot of not likely voters show up, in others, even the likelies don't show up as much. I'm not certain, but I think 2008 and 2018 were two elections where lots of voters who were not considered "likely" showed up.

One way to tell--if you can compare likely voters to registered voters (in the same poll), you should see a big drop in undecideds. At this point in the election, the most unlikely voter is one who has not made up their mind.
