They would really be forcing the dems hand despite Biden saying he is open to reaching across the aisle.

Claire McCaskill tweeted something along the lines of Mcconnell won't call a vote because his goal is power or something. Like thirty minutes later Mitch says he will call a floor vote.

Fucking fools these people.

I try. Expecting the worst just leads to misery and depression. Life is too short for that. None of this will matter to us at the end of that short life. Therefore, I remain optimistic.

Obviously this isn't fine though. We just have to make the best of it.

There are a lot of really nice places that aren’t America, despite what a lot of idiots that have never been outside of the tri state area will tell you about this being the best country in the world.

I'll take that bet

He needs the vote in case the election goes to the SC, they're going to do everything they can to get someone nominated

They need 50 votes. The margins are razor thin.

I haven’t looked it up. Is it 50 votes or just as many yays as nays? As in if 4 Rs abstain, is 49-47 still a win for the Rs?

Lindsey Graham needs to come clean immediately, does he still agree with this statement he made in 2018? It's easy to say this shit when the seat isn't open. Call him now, wake his ass up. He needs to tell us if he still believes this.

Seems likely, though I base my opinion on your assertion and having having read one article. (though it also mentions Eid, Grant, Larsen and Thapar as possibilities.) So pretty much a done deal.
