Yes, I ignored that. You are right. And that is clearly part of the plan. However, I still contend having a MAGA Hat Wearer as part of the DNC convention is bonkers. They had regular Trump voters. I think they played the same dude from Rhode Island every night. There was that WW2 Vet and then obviously all the R politicians. They did it a lot!

Probably anecdotal as well but I had C-SPAN on after the speech and they were doing the call-ins. Three Republicans called in during the time I had it on, all had nothing but nice things to say, but two said they're supporting Trump and the other lady just said she had to do more research. They all agreed it was a good speech, but they're still Trump supporters. So you can't spend too much time pandering to these people, because many are beyond reproach and even the good eggs are still pushing the lever for Donald. There were a few Ds who did call in and say they were more excited than they had been previously, so it seems like the speech and convention on the whole did its job from what I'm hearing and reading so far.
