Statues of Limitations: Politics Thread

The press secretary’s family got one of those loans design for companies of 10 or less to the tune of between one and $2 million to support their 141 person roofing company. I’m not gonna say that businesses don’t deserve access to these funds, it’s just the hypocrisy of the type of support given from the vehicle designed was corrupted to support a much larger entity. And then there’s the optics of course.

According to some polls, Trump is losing the 65+ vote. He only has a small lead with 40-65 group.

IMO also heavily depends on the candidates in 2024. It seems Biden feels tolerable / more to the center for a lot of seniors, vs. a more progressive candidate obviously has a lower chance of making that happen.

Similarly, if the next R candidate is more Romney than Trump, I doubt you'll see many stick to voting D.

If not, the CEO of Goya foods said Trump is a god sent and this has spurred a campaign of #Goyaway.

Seems the judge in Richmond may be a bit of an activist. They halted removals of Confederate monuments on Monument Avenue, of which there is only one left city has any jurisdiction over, and that one’s a problem because it has the remnants of AP Hill under it. But nothing can be done with that because the judge put a 60 day hold on removals, while calling AP Hill a war hero.

For the record it’s very likely that AP Hill died of complications of gonorrhea that he picked up while he was a student at the military Academy. And certainly the best thing that happened to him what’s the Civil War since he went from being stuck as a first lieutenant to a lieutenant general, but then again he was killed in the war so maybe it wasn’t the best thing for him.

"The president has a complicated report and he's been focused on addressing the coronavirus crisis and other matters," a White House official who declined to be named said in a statement. "As a result he's been given an additional 45 days, but the president intends to file as soon as possible."

Trump gets his second extension on this form, but the reasoning is a clear lie. 1) He's clearly not leading on COVID, and 2) he clearly would not be the person actually putting this together since it is not delivered in sharpie.

Pence's relatively simple filing disclosed a few thousand dollars in book royalties that second lady Karen Pence received for a picture book about their pet bunny, Marlon Bundo's A Day in the Life of the Vice President. It also showed that Pence received nearly half a million dollars from a legal defense fund for the costs of an attorney for the Mueller investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.

This is a reminder that I need to "write" a kids book.

Got a little bit of Trump walking to the chopper to go to Florida. It was full of head scratchers.

I know that’s the norm, but it included him saying that Biden plagiarized his economic recovery plan, and reiterated that Biden and Obama spied on his campaign.

I somehow forgot the real reason I posted this, which is that he would ask about Pardoning Roger stone and he said he’ll be looking into that. So that that is but he’s going to get a pass because he was so unfairly treated. I think that actually plays well if he does it to campaign against him.

Wasting no time.

@ShimonPro
US District Court Judge Victor Marrero has told the parties in the Trump v. Vance case that in light of the Supreme Court decision, they are to tell the court by July 15 whether they intend to proceed further in district court.

So I guess we're to take that when they rushed Trump to Walter Reed late that one night is when he had the cognitive test. I think I hope that the guy ain't all there, unfortunately I think his disrespect for the citizens of the United States is 100% all him

There's a glitch in the matrix.

@AnnCoulter
The lovely Amy McGrath is a Marine Corps veteran. The average donation to her campaign is $36.

Mitch McConnell is a broken-down old man owed by cheap labor lobbyists.

Looks like Roger Stone is a free man. Reports of sentence commuted by POSOTUS.

Good chance Coulter is just trolling, but McGrath has gone on record saying the problem with McConnell is he is obstructing Trump’s agenda. Then again, Coulter now slams Trump for not being racist enough so IDK.

Convicted of a federal crime. Commuted because he was loyal. Unbelievable.
On a scale of 1 to Chris Brown, how pissed is he?
