Both cases are going back to the lower courts I believe, so he could ultimately win... or it could be well after November when a decision is made/taxes are acquired.
Quick Google shows that GoGo is wrong with regards to the Kiwi and the Banana.

They're letting him run out the clock.

From a former law professor of mine:

Here's the TL;DR of the Trump financial records cases:

Trump's objections to these subpoenas are overbroad, but #SCOTUS remands to allow him to assert more specific objections (which will certainly push these cases past the November elections).

So Trump wins despite "losing."

@realDonaldTrump
The Supreme Court sends case back to Lower Court, arguments to continue. This is all a political prosecution. I won the Mueller Witch Hunt, and others, and now I have to keep fighting in a politically corrupt New York. Not fair to this Presidency or Administration!

Lol these meltdowns

@realDonaldTrump
We have a totally corrupt previous Administration, including a President and Vice President who spied on my campaign, AND GOT CAIGHT...and nothing happens to them. This crime was taking place even before my election, everyone knows it, and yet all are frozen stiff with fear....
....No Republican Senate Judiciary response, NO “JUSTICE”, NO FBI, NO NOTHING. Major horror show REPORTS on Comey & McCabe, guilty as hell, nothing happens. Catch Obama & Biden cold, nothing. A 3 year, $45,000,000 Mueller HOAX, failed - investigated everything....
....Won all against the Federal Government and the Democrats send everything to politically corrupt New York, which is falling apart with everyone leaving, to give it a second, third and fourth try. Now the Supreme Court gives a delay ruling that they would never have given...
....for another President. This is about PROSECUTORIAL MISCONDUCT. We catch the other side SPYING on my campaign, the biggest political crime and scandal in U.S. history, and NOTHING HAPPENS. But despite this, I have done more than any President in history in first 3 1/2 years!

More I think about it this is the best possible outcome. Keeps the issue from being in the news more than for a day or two and thus limits its use as a "they're persecuting me" rallying cry for his base, will weigh on his mind however for the rest of his term and contribute to his ongoing mental unravelling. Well done, SCOTUS!

It DOES let Trump run out the clock, it also protects future POTI from political witch hunts. It's good SCOTUS ruling even though I want Trump in jail TODAY.

I hold out hope that Vance guns hard for Trump next January.

He'll just appeal the new decisions too whenever they come out. This will drag on forever.

By the way whatever happened to Don McGahn?

It's a shame they couldn't come out before the election because you know it must be VERY bad for him to put this much effort into stopping them. Whatever is in those returns must be pretty damning.

She's been one of my choices. I think a few others here like her too.

She needs some polish but I think she's a selection that adds a few votes. Less baggage than a few of the other choices too.

Yeah, she was my top choice early on. I just find her to be an impressive individual and is an actual patriot and hero.
