President Donald Trump’s campaign rally in Tulsa that drew thousands of people in late June, along with large protests that accompanied it, “likely contributed” to a dramatic surge in new coronavirus cases, Tulsa City-County Health Department Director Dr. Bruce Dart said Wednesday.

Tulsa County reported 261 confirmed new cases on Monday, a one-day record high, and another 206 cases on Tuesday.


Impressive. Protests seem to net few new cases, but Don’s ego really showed how it’s done.

She's been one of my choices. I think a few others here like her too.

She needs some polish but I think she's a selection that adds a few votes. Less baggage than a few of the other choices too.

Unrealized potential. Maybe it was the talent level in the system at the time (or my homer bias) but I thought he was going to be a rotation stalwart for years.

The Creek Tribe won their case in McGirt v. Oklahoma, the opinion was written by Gorsuch. SCOTUS is usually not too kind on tribal law, and this case was 5-4.
Quick Google shows that GoGo is wrong with regards to the Kiwi and the Banana.

Gorsuch has been very consistent on his tribal rulings throughout his career.

From my short time working on the Hill, everyone (meaning other members of Congress) like her.

I dont think the general public knew who she was until last week tho.

So the Vance decision throws it back to the New York courts, so it seems like it'll still be tied up in the court system.
