It's an intractable problem in so many areas of human achievement: politics, art, science. How far should you go in separating the person from the work?

George Floyd was an anonymous soul until he was killed for being black. Like many souls he had both good and bad. Sometimes you don't choose to be a symbol, but you are anyway.

I agree that he will not go quietly, but he isn't going to be able to co-opt the military to keep him in office. That's fantasy. If Joe Biden takes the oath of office on January 20, 2021, the military will haul Trump out on his ass if he refuses to leave the White House. His efforts to stay in power will be far more insidious.

The only comfort I take is that the vileness of his administration is surpassed only by its incompetency. Other than Barr (both vile and quite competent), his advisors are Abe Nunez level players.
