Second of all, I don't care if George Floyd was the biggest piece of shit ever, or if he was a saint. His murder was the spark that set off everything going on right now, and huge change is finally starting to happen. If the AA community is comfortable putting up a mural of him because of that, wtf am I to say whether it's right or wrong

1. Will the election really be that close? Polls indicate otherwise. Things seem to be spiraling out of control for Trump and he doesn't have the ability to right the ship in less than five months.

2. Does this mean that the winner won't be called on election night? Will we really need to wait days/weeks for the final tally? Clearly Trump is never going to concede.

Yeh, that take is much more optimistic than what reality is showing us. He has charges waiting to be filed against him in NY. He will do everything he can to illegally steal the election. If he loses, he will try to get the military behind him for a coup or hold out for legal challenges to the results or any other number of things we haven't thought of because we can't think as low as he and his handlers can.

I honestly can't imagine how anyone could watch the last 3 years and think he is going quietly. He will create chaos and then use it as cover to make his move.

he's a wounded animal. once the riots and looting happened he could go full on trump, he couldn't. i mean he did try, but it's done. don't know if it's covid19 that took some of the wind out of his sail or finally his latest advisors, cabinet members, military leaders who thought had his back abandoned him. he's pretty much done. don't get close and prod him with a stick, cause he's still dangerous, has rabies and can still bite. just leave him to die and move on. i think that's what the biden camp is doing and it's smart. keep up the protests, keep up the discontent, but no more rioting. that's the only thing that can save him.

Look at the polls from the last 5 or so elections. The GOP person is always behind at this stage, then the polls start to close and the media picks up on the "GOP momentum" narrative, and the next thing we know the narrative becomes reality.

True though Trump is much further behind than he was at this point in 2016 or other recent candidates that ultimately won after trailing.

A lot can happen but he has a hole to dig out. These recent Fox polls in Wisco Michigan and Arizona aren't good for him and he's done a laundry list of crazy shit since they were taken while Biden has stayed out of the way.
