Ginny is part of the anti pipeline group which is incredibly online. Howard has spent a lot of her adult life advocating for many groups, while Ginny only got involved when Mariner East went through her backyard. It's basically her only platform position. No one is pro pipeline either, despite what they all would say. ME2 is bad.

Ginny ran for county commissioner last year too and finished fourth out of four candidates in the primary. Kristine was able to win a republican held seat in 2018.

Appreciate it. Obviously ME2 is awful, but I get that same vibe from some of the vocal anti-pipeline people. Never heard a peep from them until life in Bow Tree was disrupted.

Wow, pompous ass Pompeo was really something when speaking about the firing of the IG. HE said he recommended it but then moved onto the belligerent segment of his discussion where the popped the smokescreen. He moved on to talking about how ridiculous it is to hear that this is about some staffer walking his dog while he sold arms to his dry cleaner, unless he send his shirt out to Saudi for pressing.

I just don’t get it. He already killed somebody and now he’s going to put other people’s lives in jeopardy by opening the gym.”

QAnon is on the ballot in the state of Washington:

Jo Rae Perkins bested three other candidates to win the GOP nomination to face Sen. Jeff Merkley (D-Ore.) in November.
In a video posted to her Twitter feed Tuesday night, Perkins declared that she supports the conspiracy theory, which revolves around “Q,” an anonymous Internet user claiming to be a government agent with top security clearance.
“Where we go one, we go all,” Perkins said in the video, reciting a QAnon slogan. “I stand with President Trump. I stand with Q and the team. Thank you Anons, and thank you patriots. And together, we can save our republic.”

Sen. Todd C. Young (R-Ind.), chairman of the National Republican Senatorial Committee, said he would need to learn more about Perkins but that the organization generally gives its backing to GOP candidates.
“I don’t know anything about that,” Young said when asked about Perkins’s belief in QAnon. “I’ll have to learn more about it, but the NRSC tends to support Republican candidates, as you know.”

Well here is a little something else that I heard/saw:

We are following the situation at the Atilis gym across the street from Bell Oaks. We had to change the date of food distribution due to the congestion there. I am hopeful that we will be able to continue distributing food tomorrow as planned. Be careful driving around Bellmawr today. It is quite crowded, and someone has directed parking to our lot so be careful on Browning Road. We are keeping an eye on the situation and will inform you of changes that may need to be made.

For anyone generally familiar with the area, Bell Oaks School is on Bell Road near Browning Road and just down and across the street from the shopping center that houses the gym. The school is a food collection and distribution location for Bellmawr and the surrounding area. The bolded note above is from the Superintendent of Schools and posted to the school's website yesterday.

Who cares if some people in Bellmawr didn't eat yesterday; so long as these folks got chest day in.

These guys are masters at throwing #$!&@ out there without any proof of anything. Remember all that Biden/Obama dirt Rudy released from his crack investigation in the Ukraine? Yeah, me neither.

you did see that just today some senate committee voted along party lines to subpoena records from the ukraine company that hunter biden worked for right? smokescreen keeps rollin' along

I'm genuinely concerned there is something there. It certainly doesn't look right to Joe on the street. What does Hunter know to merit that job? It does seem fishy and I'm afraid Trump already knows it. Trump isn't going around complaining about Obama trying to influence the 2016 election for nothing. He's been using our intelligence and law enforcement apparatus to spy on anyone he thinks can help him. I would be very shocked if he wasn't doing the things he complained about Obama doing. That's his MO.

I highly doubt there's something there. Of course I understand the suspicion and concern. Hunter BIden is the first person to ever trade on his daddy's name.

I mean if we don't stop it now some day one of the jokers might end up in the white house. The cycle of nepotism is unstoppable at that point. Heck, you might end up with a president who puts his daughter and son in law in important roles.

I think the beef many conservatives have with TRump is his dishonest and illegal business dealings. If there's something there with Biden, it could make some people vote who would have otherwise stayed home. Hard to know for sure, but I think we can say for sure there will be some next level dishonesty to try to make it worse than it seems and I personally fully expect a last minute fake video. Intel has been warning about the fake videos over the last year or so and this will be the year they are used, imo. Russia is even or ahead of us in making and identifying the fake videos, so we better be ready.

We can agree on this part.

I also think this backfires on Trump to an extent. Biden ain't Hillary and this ain't 2016. He'll fire up his base with it but the benefit is substantially less this time around.

Don's visit with Ford today will be a big win. First he has a mini rally, but when he does he gets to defy the state's COVID orders baring non-essential onsite work and factory visits. Bet "that woman" comes up on this victory lap.

Maybe they should arrest them.

I seriously doubt that Joe was anything but pissed when Hunter took the Burisma job. Joe had just called in some favors to get his 43 year old son with a history of drug abuse into the Navy, and Hunter screwed that up immediately. Less than a year later, he's taking the job in Ukraine. I get the vibe that Joe had probably told him you're on your own.

I mean, there is a scandal here, but it's about the failures of American meritocracy and not corruption in Ukraine, and it implicates way more people than just the Bidens.

A federal judge overseeing the trial of President Trump's former confidant, Roger Stone, has ordered that the federal government turn over at least 20 emails related to the White House's order to halt military aid to Ukraine, which sparked impeachment proceedings against the president on Capitol Hill.

Law and Crime reported that Judge Amy Berman Jackson ruled in favor of a motion for summary judgement filed by The New York Times and ordered the White House to provide her with emails that the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) previously refused to turn over, citing executive privilege.

"Specifically, the documents in this category are emails that reflect communications by either the President, the Vice President, or the President's immediate advisors regarding Presidential decision-making about the scope, duration, and purpose of the hold on military assistance to Ukraine," OMB Deputy General Counsel Heather Walsh said of the emails in court filings.

Berman Jackson reportedly said in her ruling that she would personally determine if the emails are protected by executive privilege, directing the Justice Department's attorneys to provide the documents before May 20.

Jeff Sprecher, the husband of Sen. Kelly Loeffler (R-Ga.), sent a $1 million check to the leading pro-Trump super PAC even as she been fending off criticism around her family’s stock trading.

Sprecher, chairman of the New York Stock Exchange, donated to America First Action on April 29, according to a report the Federal Election Commission filed Wednesday evening. America First has been described as the sole “approved outside non-campaign group” by the Trump campaign.

Sure, and there's no worse example of family wrongdoing than the Trumps. But it does allow them to say, "Look, the other side does it, too," while taking away one of the hammers the dems can use on Trump. It's hard to argue that Trump shouldn't be able to enrich himself and his family with the presidency when they can point to Hunter Biden. It doesn't matter if it's different, it certainly will look the same to most people.
