the pastor fellow, warnock, seems to have some steam maybe
Kelly (AZ), Cunningham (NC), Gideon (ME), Bullock (MT), and Hickenlooper (CO) seem to be the best five chances however. Only need 4, assuming Biden can win and Jones loses. Obviously need to be near perfect but that was always going to be the case.

We did a poll this week for a non-political client in a very much non-targeted state that I have not seen anyone talk about, included a Senate ballot vs. a well-known Dem in the state who a) isn't running and b) isn't terribly popular himself, and had the incumbent Republican down (tho within the margin of error).

Which is my rambling way of saying I think the Dems' potential Senate map is super wide at this point. Maybe Trump rights the ship a bit by November and it closes to the states you have listed, but it seems like when when these things go, they break bigger than expected and usually all the same way.

If we actually get a coronavirus vaccine by the fall, I think there’s a good chance we see another four years of Trump. Obviously, he wouldn’t have had anything to do with it, but he’ll point to how quickly “he” got a vaccine out and how everything bad that happened to our country was solely on “the Chinese virus.”

Man if the map expands, Dems have some decent candidates in South Carolina and Iowa. Kansas too maybe? A turncoat Republican will be the D nominee there. Go Kobach!

Since the the federal government has been so slow to get out the 1200 stimulus to so many, they are now introducing a debit card that will be sent to people. I don't know how mailing a debit card is faster than direct deposit or mailing a check, but it will also have Trump's name on it. So those folks have that to look forward to.

EVEN IF a vaccine was possible by the fall, there's no way he wouldn't fuck up a roll out that would cost him the election. a vaccine in time for voting seems almost worse for him.

Seriously. They have had how long now to get testing in order and that is still a CF.

Ratcliff, who was so under-qualified and unpopular that he withdrew last time, got a 8-7 party line vote this time. This dude is a true stooge and should get no where near the DNI role.

Yes, there is an interchange that is charged on the transaction, PULSE, STAR, Visa and/or whoever else is in between is getting ~ 3% split between them, the merchant is paying that on POS transactions and the customer on ATM

I hope every time the phrase Obamagate is udder that the discussion is stopped to ask pointedly what that is. Don was fluffing today with the GOP about it. Sounds like he is butt hurt over those reports that show Russian involvement that he is working with his henchman to make irrelevant by dropping charges and awarding medals to the comrades. He also was showing polls about his superior numbers in popularity and how he handled the now solved COVID situation. I read it on The Hill's site. Really something.

I don’t think it matters what happens short of an all out catastrophic 2nd wave. I think the election will be pretty close

Oh, without a doubt. He's going to promise a vaccine by election all summer long and will never deliver.

I would love for somebody to have followed up on that point. I mean I don't mind the concept of a debit card necessarily but I do not know the details on it either. Is it more like a cash card with $1,200 on it or is it more like an actually debit card where it is linked to a bank account? Either way, don't insult our intelligence by telling us that it is to get money to people quicker. Frankly, it seems like a marketing tool more than anything else and a way to give Trump a reach around. Mnuchin looked like he was giving the teacher an apple on test day. And, no, not COVID-19 test day because you can't get those.

I will say that I don’t know the details of this card, but unless it is being setup with no fees for the merchant or customer and no minimum withdrawal amount that is redeemable at any financial institution, it is not good for the recipient.
