Asked what I thought was a pretty decent question on Facebook regarding one of the State Senate candidates running in Chester County. And then these are the replies I got from his two buddies/ (only?) campaign staffers. All three of these people (Don, who is the candidate, and person 1 and person 2) work for the current state senator, Andy Dinniman. Andy voted to reopen the state. He voted for all the republican bills. Don's entire campaign has been basically Andy endorsed me so vote for me. If you cannot answer pretty basic questions then sheesh.

Me: Genuinely curious what Don's position is regarding the reopening and if it is different from the current office he is working in? Would he have voted for all of those house bills without amendments?

Person 1: The point here is Don Vymazal has vastly more experience than anyone in this race. It seems like you don't want to talk about that. Don has the endorsement of the local Chester County Democratic Committee (and dozens of community leaders). Don Vymazal is not beholden to Harrisburg or to the Governor and won't blindly side with the administration at every opportunity. That seems to be what Rep. Comitta is doing (i.e. Mariner East and Restore Pa.) and will keep doing if elected. Governor Wolf is only going to be around for 2 more years anyway.

Person 2: Let's get real for a minute here. I'm gonna be real honest with you. I support the Chester County Democratic Committee's endorsed candidates. If you can't or won't do that, what's the point? I can only imagine what your response would be if the shoe was on the other foot. If Rep. Comitta or Sen. Kearney had an unendorsed primary challenger that was running for two seats. What would you say then? What then?

This is the committee’s fourth report with a fifth report pending which will examine counterintelligence findings, including whether Trump’s campaign conspired with Russia. It’s unclear (if) when that will be released.
