Senator Burr was a good chairman for the IC, much better than that clown Nunes in the House. I find it hard to believe there are many tears in the West Wing that he had to step down.

Yeah he was great, I liked the part where he used intelligence to sell all of his stocks illegally.

I liked the part where he let the IC investigate Russian interference in the 2016 election and stated that conclusion publicly.

It was better than having both the GOP leader in the House and the Senate running interference and leaking information to the White House during the investigations. I'm not trying to give the man an award, but I fear what could happen if/when the Senate Intel Committee is chaired by someone who is uber partisan. At least Burr lead it with competence.

A business owner in Bellmawr has decided to “take matters into our own hands” by opening his gym in defiance of a state-ordered closing of nonessential businesses. Ian Smith, co-owner of Atilis Gym, said he plans to open at 8 a.m. Monday for members. Smith said they’ve decided to limit capacity to 20% or about 44 people at a time, but he expects “thousands” of people to show up after a primetime national television interview Wednesday.

Smith told Carlson he thought Gov. Phil Murphy’s order to close nonessential business was unfair and an infringement on his Constitutional rights. “Our main objective is to show the world, but especially the governor, that we reject the premise of essential versus nonessential businesses. Our goal is to make a statement. We don’t need a nanny state to tell us you can’t go outside.”

[Reveal] Spoiler:
Smith said he and Trumbetti (his business partner) are “not saying take masks off and throw caution to the wind.” “Frank’s mother is hospitalized with COVID,” Smith said. “She’s probably not going to make it. My partner is watching his mom lose the battle.”

Donald Jr has an op-ed in Breitbart today attacking Wolf. There’s no way he wrote actually wrote it, but I guess Wolf is the next Whitmer in their strategy for November.

NEPA carried Trump last time, right? Not a fucking chance they vote against one of their own.
